It holds one card and has one zippered compartment. When a card is inserted in the front slot, the zipper doesn't open wide, but the leather is soft, making it easy to use. Visually, I think it's better not to overcrowd the zippered compartment. Overall, I find it to have sufficient functionality for my needs as a card holder, and I'm pleased with it.
